- My heroes are my children :o) Without them, I wouldn't be who I am today. My heroes are also those who have overcome adversity in their lives... who have learned from their mistakes and taken advantage of their experiences to help others along the way. The most courageous step we can take is to give of ourselves even when we don't think we have the strength to do so. I firmly believe in everything happening for a specific reason. What comes around, goes around. And to repeat the words in John Lennon's song "Beautiful Boy": "Life is what happens to you when you're busy making other plans."
